Common Questions and Answers

When people hear the term Financial Coach, most people either think of a Financial Advisor or they have no clue what to think. This article is intended to provide some clarity and to answer some of the most common questions I get asked.
What is financial coaching?
A financial coach takes a holistic view of your financial picture and works as a guide to help you achieve your vision of success. Working with a coach allows you to tackle the scary or uncertain things with support, encouragement, and confidentiality that most people do not have for finances in their daily life.

What does a typical session look like?
A typical session is 60 minutes long and is tailored to your unique situation. The sessions will work through a progression toward your goals and have applicable, action-oriented "homework" to be completed before the next session. As each client is coming with a specific starting point, set of challenges, and goals for the future, there is no on-size-fits-all definition of the contents of a session. And as the sessions progress and goals are realized, the structure may change to reflect the new circumstances.
